Deaf Professional Network   Workplace Accomodation
Through regular informal meetings, this is an opportunity for Deaf professionals and/or your employees who are Deaf professionals to build relationships, address pertinent issues, and achieve professional growth through communication.   If you have hired or will hire Deaf employees, it's important to know what you can do to to make certain they have equal access to all aspects of their workplace. You may want to consider taking our ADA (American DIsabilities Act) responsibilities training course.
Outreach
Deaf Services incorporates an involvement in community groups and contact with other organization and service providers. This includes presentations and orientations to other health and human services organizations, businesses, and schools. These presentations include information about our programs and the issues we address such as Deaf Awareness, Deaf Culture, TTY trainings, and American Sign Language (ASL) Classes.
