The
Fitting Process |
|
Costs & Charges |
|
|
If the results of your child's
hearing test confirm a hearing loss, he or she may benefit from the
use of a hearing
aid(s). One of our audiologists will discuss yourchild's hearing
problem with you and, depending upon your decision, offer complete
hearing
aid fitting services. |
|
The final cost of a hearing aid(s)
is determined by a number of factors including the choice of aid
and the amount that your medical insurance covers. |
|
|
Trial
Period & Return Policy |
|
Extended
Protection |
|
|
All hearing aids are dispensed
with a minimum 30-day trial period wherein the aid(s) may be returned
or exchanged. If a hearing aid is returned, it must be in good, working
condition (like new) and within 30 days of the original fitting date. |
|
All hearing aids dispensed from
the Hearing, Speech & Deafness Center have a minimum one-year
warranty against manufacturer defects. In addition, most hearing
aid companies offer insurance against loss and/or allow for an extension
on the basic coverage. If you wish to obtain such coverage, we will
be happy to assist you in doing so. |
