to meeting basic human needs of Seattle-King County residents.
With twelve member-specific coalitions, 137 non-profit programs
and agency members and nearly 500 individuals, the Seattle Human
Services Coalition's mission is three-fold:
- To be an assertive and unified voice shaping public policy
for a positive impact on the ability of Seattle-King County residents
to meet their basic human needs.
- To counter institutional racism, a contributing factor to unmet
human need.
- To create a sustainable network of community support for meeting
