Services for Seniors
Retirement homes, senior centers and assisted living facilities
can take advantage of onsite monthly services. For a monthly fee,
the Hearing, Speech & Deafness Center (HSDC) will provide both your
residents and your staff with services and solutions for the most
common challenge
that
seniors
face - hearing
loss. More than one third of all Americans over 65 experience some
hearing loss.
Rather than take residents off site for hearing screenings;
cleaning, maintenance and repair of their hearing aids; battery sales
and delivery;
we will schedule a regular two-hour visit to your site every month,
providing the services you select. This includes demonstration and
instruction with assistive technology and classes about hearing loss
and related issues. Let us bring these services
to you, at your convenience, on your schedule.
Services for Children
HSDC will conduct hearing and speech screenings, for a fee, at preschools
and daycare centers
The Parent-Infant
Program (PIP) offers consultations and presentations
to development centers, day care providers, and other community groups.
