HSDC Welcomes New Board Members |

Seattle, Washington – The Hearing, Speech & Deafness Center (HSDC) is pleased to announce that Jenny Lay-Flurrie and Rahim Sewani were recently elected to join the HSDC Board of Directors. Jointing Lay-Flurrie and Sewani on the Board of Directors is Neeraj Joshi, HSDC Board Fellow.
All three new Board additions are employed by Microsoft: Neeraj Joshi is the Performance Lead, SQL Server, Jenny Lay-Flurrie is the Director of adCenter, and Rahim Sewani is a Software Design Engineer.

As a nonprofit agency serving thousands of individuals and families each year – through clinical services, therapy, education, advocacy and technology – the Hearing, Speech & Deafness Center strengthens community by promoting effective communication. HSDC’s vision is that all people realize their full communication potential, and achieves this by joining direct services with systemic change to create an inclusive and accessible community. Agency services span the life cycle from infants through seniors, and include Audiology & Hearing Aids, Speech, Language & Learning (Ned Behnke Speech Language Preschool and the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation Literacy Lab), Early Childhood Education (Parent-Infant Program and the Rosen Family Preschool), Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services, and Assistive Listening and Signaling Technology. |

With offices in Seattle, Tacoma, and Bellingham, HSDC provides Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services to residents of thirteen counties across Western Washington who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind, or hard of hearing - through contracts with state Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ODHH) and with support from United Way. HSDC has been serving the Puget Sound area for over 70 years. |
