All hearing aids are subject to a thirty-day
trial period. During this time, the aid(s) may be returned or exchanged
for a refund. If a hearing aid is returned, it must be in good, working
condition (like new) and within thirty days of the original fitting
date. Should an aid be returned, the client's refund request will
be processed
through HSDC's business office. The refund check or VISA/MC credit
(if paid by credit card) for the amount of the hearing aid(s), less
the appropriate restocking fee, will be credited or mailed to the
client postmarked within ten working days after the return of the
merchandise.
The restocking fee is defined as 15% of the total purchase price or $150
per hearing aid, whichever is less, plus the cost of the earmold(s) (if
applicable).
If an extended trial period is warranted, a written agreement will be
made between HSDC and the purchaser. After completion of the trial period,
no refund will be given. Therefore, it is important for you to exercise
your right to return your hearing aid(s) within this trial period.
Also during the trial period, the purchaser has the right to exchange
the hearing aid for another type or style with no penalty or restocking
fee. If it is exchanged for a style that costs a different amount, the
difference will be added or refunded as appropriate. |
