The Hearing, Speech & Deafness Center is once
again offering lipreading and aural rehabilitation classes. Daytime
and evening classes will be offered throughout the year. Lipreading
classes are for hard of hearing adults and their family members. The
classes are held once a week for eight weeks. We encourage the hard of hearing person to bring a partner (family member, spouse or significant
other) to attend the class at a discounted rate. The cost is $125 per
person and $50 for each additional family member. HSDC also offers
aural rehabilitation classes to its clients free-of-charge. The classes
are series of four ninety-minute sessions.
