The Hearing, Speech & Deafness Center offers
both group and private courses in modification of accent. Both
courses
include an initial phonetic analysis of speech patterns followed by
weekly training sessions. Participants learn pronunciation patterns
based on their individual accent and native language. Upon completion
of the thirteen-week course, participants experience at least a 50%
improvement in their English pronunciation.
