The Hearing, Speech & Deafness Center has a
number of speech-language pathologists and an occupational therapist
to assist individuals who might be experiencing speech, language or
motor problems. |

Lindall McIntyre M.S., CCC-SLP
Director of Speech, Language & Motor Services
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist
Lindall completed her B.A. at the University of Oregon and her M.S.
in Speech Language Pathology at California State University. Her
areas of special interest include developmental verbal apraxia, motor
speech disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and parent support and
education. |

Katie Vornbrock, M.S., CCC-SLP
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist
Katie obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of
Washington. Her focus is the treatment of the pediatric population with interests
in early intervention, language development, articulation disorders, feeding
disorders, caregiver education, and foster/adoptive families. Katie is an Infant
Toddler Early Intervention Program contact for HSDC complemented by her role
as a Family Resources Coordinator. Her specialized training includes PROMPT technique,
Hanen It Takes Two To Talk® program, and Picture Exchange Communication System
(PECS). |

Deborah Cooper M.S., CCC-SLP
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist
Deborah enjoys working with individuals of all ages particularly those needing
specialized treatment in the areas of motor speech disorders, oral facial myofunctional
disorders, reading disabilities, and early intervention with parent education.
She has completed focused training in PROMPT®, Debra Beckman Oral Motor Techniques®,
Orofacial Myofunctional therapy and she’s Hanen® Certified. |

Heidi Wade, M.S., CCC-SLP
Certified Speech Language Pathologist
Heidi's areas of special interest include evaluation and treatment of pediatric
populations with emphasis in deaf and hard of hearing children and their families,
speech and language development, as well as family education and support. |
