Investing In Your Community
The Hearing, Speech & Deafness Center is committed to providing comprehensive services to ensure that all individuals realize their full communication potential. We provide free or reduced cost services to low income families. We are the only community resource low income families or individuals have for communication-focused medical care, including hearing aids and other assistive technology that make it possible for people to secure employment, an education, and other basic needs. Additionally, our education programs provide critical intervention for children facing communication challenges - so ALL children can achieve success in school and in life!
You are a key partner in helping HSDC achieve these goals. As a nonprofit organization, one third of our annual budget comes from contributions made by thoughtful friends, businesses, and community members.
Whether providing individual therapy for a child with Autism, or empowering Puget Sound workplaces to better serve people who are Deaf and hard of hearing, your contribution makes a direct and measurable impact.
All contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Meet adorable and cheerful Violetta. She turns three in February and is getting ready to start preschool. What you don't see in this picture is how Violetta communicates with her family and the outside world.
