Donate & Volunteer
HSDC provides resources and support that make the world more accessible for everyone, infant to elder. Our goal is that every individual has an opportunity to be a champion by achieving their maximum potential through effective communication connections with family and community.
We need YOU! The Center offers varied volunteer opportunities which include help for clients and staff, board and committee membership, administrative tasks, and special events. If you are interested in board or committee membership, please contact Renee Look, Director of Development (email@example.com)
Your support changes lives!
Over 60% of the children, adults, and families served by HSDC have low incomes and receive services at no cost or for reduced fees. Last year HSDC provided approximately $1 million in uncompensated care. We are the only community resource many low income families or individuals have for communication-focused medical care, including hearing aids and other assistive technology that make it possible for people to secure employment, education, and other basic needs. Additionally, our education programs provide critical intervention for children facing communication challenges, ensuring ALL children can achieve success in school and in life!
You are a key partner in helping HSDC achieve these goals. As a nonprofit organization, nearly a quarter of our annual budget comes from contributions made by thoughtful friends, businesses, and community members. Contributions may be directed towards specific programs or made in honor of a family member or friend and all are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
